Liquid Force Launch Foil Set 4’5″

$1,949.99

Built with the first time foiler in mind!   This all new 4’5” compression molded board features a large planning surface and a thinner cross section similar to a wakeboard. This gives way to easy board management and smooth deep water starts.  The overall width of the board, flat tail rocker, chine rails, and wide shovel nose all help in the process of learning how the foil reacts while riding at a slower speed.

Essentially, it helps you get pass that 8 second ride…  The foil track mounting system gives 4” of travel to adjust the foil depending on rider weight and skill level.  Four insert positions allow for foot straps to aide in the ease of the learning process. As it says in its name, the Launch is the perfect board to get you out of the water and into the air.

Launch Foil Set

The Launch Foil Set from Liquid Force is a great choice for Beginner foilers looking to get into the sport. It’s the most stable setup in the Liquid Force lineup, and it provides the confidence new riders are looking for when mastering the fundamentals of foiling.

Mast & Collar

24” Mast: In general, beginner masts are shorter, and they are built to perform at slower speeds.

Standard Collar: standard 4 bolt attachment collar to join your foil setup to the board.

Attachment: Foil Track allows you to mount your foil exactly where you want it. Further back to give beginners better balance and further forward to allow tighter aggressive turns.

Low Aspect Wing

Wing shape: This refers to the ratio between the wingspan and the chord (distance between the leading edge and trailing edge of the wing). Low aspect wings are generally easier to use for beginners, easier to control at lower speeds, create more lift at lower speeds and more predictable and forgiving to small changes in angles of attack.

Lift Speed & Ability

Lift Speed: The lift speed is the estimated speed the foil wing will begin to generate lift in the water.

Ability Level: This foil setup is recommended for Intermediate to Advanced riders.
